Membership

Join the Kangungi Primary School Alumni and be part of a supportive, vibrant, and impactful community.

Qualification to Be a Member

  • Any former pupil of the school is eligible for membership.
  • Membership is open to all alumni.
  • Joining requires payment of a registration fee.
  • The registration fee is determined and reviewed by members periodically.
  • Members must sign a registration form and submit a copy of their ID.
  • All ID copies and forms are submitted to the State Department of Social Protection for record-keeping.
  • Alumni can join by participating in WhatsApp groups, meetings, and alumni activities.

Removal of Members

  • A member can be removed by a resolution in a meeting or by their own request.
  • Membership also ends upon death or voluntary resignation.
  • Removal is communicated through an official letter.
  • The letter is submitted to the State Department of Social Protection for database removal.

Duties of Members

  • Attend and contribute actively in meetings.
  • Engage in alumni activities and events.
  • Join at least one alumni committee and participate in its work.
  • Respect and follow the CBO's rules and regulations.
  • Make financial contributions as agreed upon by the members.

Rights of Members

  • The right to be elected to any leadership position within the CBO.
  • The right to vote on all CBO matters.
  • The right to participate in general meetings.
  • The right to enjoy all other rights as outlined in the CBO's rules.

Discipline

  • All members are required to follow the rules and regulations of the CBO.
  • Members must comply with the provisions of the CBO Constitution.
