Welcome to Kangungi Primary School Alumni

Kangungi Primary School Alumni held a landmark Stakeholder Engagement Forum — a significant step in reconnecting past students and shaping the school’s future.

The meeting opened at 11:47 AM with remarks from Head Teacher Mr. Stanely Mutegi Karuara and a prayer by Father Mugo, the school sponsor. In attendance were the Board of Management,including the Board Chairman Mr. Murage, teaching staff, and local administration, including Assistant Chief Madam Jane Jomo, who reaffirmed their commitment and guaranteed security for the event.

Others including Samuel Murimi, Gacugu Cicily, Mary Miti, Vincent Muriithi Njagi, Peter Ndaru, Josphat Njau, and Njoki Kiriamburi who also shared heartfelt reflections and a common desire to give back to the school that made us what we are today.

The forum was rich with nostalgia, reflection, and a renewed commitment to uplift the school. Alumni Chairman Mr. Sammy Kithaka (1977 Alumni) noted this was the first in-person meeting following six virtual engagements and underscored the urgent need for collective action.

With over 125 members already in the official WhatsApp group, alumni pledged to mobilize further resources, networks, and professional expertise to restore Kangungi Primary to excellence.

Following the successful elections of the Kangungi Primary School Alumni Association. This is the official leadership as outlined in the Alumni Constitution, ensuring representation, transparency, and accountability in all association affairs.

Elections were conducted in line with democratic principles, ensuring every member has a vote. The term of office is stipulated as three years (renewable once), and office bearers must maintain ethical conduct, transparency, and commitment to alumni objectives.
